About Me

Hi, my name is Tianze Qu. I am a Ph.D. student in Industrial and Operations Engineering at University of Michigan–Ann Arbor since Fall 2025, where I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Sushil Varma.

I am also fortunate to collaborate with Prof. Daniela Hurtado Lange at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and Prof. Pengyu Qian at Questrom School of Business, Boston University.

Previously, I received my M.S. from University of Michigan (Dec 2024) and my B.S. in Mathematics from University of Macau (June 2023).
